My path to real estate started far from the islands. I spent years in New York City's Garment Center working with women's fashion labels… first in design, then in international sales and franchising. That world taught me how to build a brand, read a market and treat every client relationship as a long-term investment.
I began selling real estate in Southern Spain in 2001, and co-founded a brokerage in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, specializing in Resort & Second Homes. In 2019, I earned my real estate license in Puerto Rico and founded Island Homes on the same belief that's carried me across three industries and three countries: every property deserves thoughtful preparation, clear guidance and a marketing strategy built around it, not a template.

Puerto Rico's coastline changes character from town to town, and that's part of what makes selling here so rewarding. I focus on three areas across the island — the Southwest, the East Coast and the Metro region. Wherever your property is located, my dedicated team is available to support you every step of the way.
My mother is from the Southwest and I split part of my time between Fajardo and Parguera in the town of Lajas, so this coast feels like home rather than a market. Cabo Rojo brings dramatic cliffs, the iconic lighthouse and postcard beaches like Playa Sucia. Parguera offers a slower pace, working-fishing-village charm and one of the island's few bioluminescent bays right in its backyard. Guánica rounds it out with dry forest trails and quiet, uncrowded shoreline. This is Puerto Rico at its most laid-back — and increasingly, at its most sought after.
The East Coast is where rainforest meets reef. Luquillo is known for its beach kiosks and calm, family-friendly waters. Río Grande sits at the gateway to El Yunque, Puerto Rico's only tropical rainforest. Fajardo is a boating hub with marinas, ferry service to Culebra and Vieques and its own bioluminescent bay. Ceiba continues to grow as a destination in its own right, and Humacao is anchored by the resort community of Palmas del Mar. Further south, Maunabo offers a quieter, largely undiscovered stretch of coast for buyers looking to get away from it all.
The Metro region offers a different pace — urban convenience, established neighborhoods and strong demand from local and returning buyers. Families have been looking for spacious homes in areas like Caguas and Gurabo. The Metro market rewards well-prepared listings with serious buyers.
